Enter Code to Redeem Your Gift Card Online
If you receive a new Gift Card, you can go to the corresponding website to redeem it and apply to your balance online within a few simple clicks.
How to Redeem an Gift Card Online:
First of all, locate the claim code of your gift card. A gift card claim code is 14 or 15 characters long and will usually contain both letters and numbers (for example AS25-NJZ1JX-CZCP5).
For plastic gift cards, you may need to scratch off the coating on the back of the card to reveal the claim code. The claim code isn't the 16-digit card number.
Once you get the claim code, open the website in your web browser of computer or smartphone. Then login Your Account with your username and password.
Once login, click "Apply a Gift Card to Your Account" .
On the page, enter your claim code and click Apply to Your Balance.
Please Note:
Once applied to your Amazon account, the entire amount will be added to your gift card balance. Your gift card balance will be applied automatically to eligible orders during the checkout process and when using 1-Click. If you don't want to use your gift card balance on your order, you can unselect it as a payment method in checkout. If your order total is more than your gift card funds, the extra can be paid for by credit card.
You can also enter your claim code during checkout. You won't be able to redeem your gift card using the 1-Click service unless you redeem the gift card funds to Your Account first.
